Smriti Irani replies to the letters of D.N. Students

Students of Dadabhai Naoroji High School poured their overwhelming love to our Union Human Resource Development Minister Smriti Irani by inviting her to their event at Anand celebrating the completion of 100 years of their institute.

There were 15,000 students who wrote letter to Smriti Irani inviting her to visit them on the event day. There were number of letters which went to Delhi and on seeing this minister was so touched by the love shown to her by the students. She decided to surprise them by a formal communication from the office of Union Human Resource Development; she confirmed that a parcel carrying a mammoth 15,000 letters addressed to individual students was on its way to school. The letters contained replies to the students who had invited her individually to remain present during the Centenary Celebrations at the school.

She not only accepted the invitation but also took an effort to reply to them. There was a great enthusiasm among each of them and she was amazed to see the original thoughts of the students. The entire procedure of this event was captured; they photographed it and got it on film. The entire captured event was digitized and was sent along with the invitation to Smriti Irani. The entire affair became extremely emotional for Smriti Irani when she saw that she was personally invited by 15,000 studetns. Lastly her office sent a formal intimation about a parcel that would arrive easily this week. But the school authorities were left flummoxed when they realized that the parcel weighed over 100kg and carried reply to each and every student who wrote to her.

The entire procedure created a bond between the minister and the children.
